The Händlerbund is Europe’s largest online trade association with more than 55,000 secured online presences.


The Händlerbund was founded in 2008 and soon grew into Europe’s largest online trade association and one of the leading providers of legal texts on the Internet. The association, which is headquartered in Leipzig, has a majority of members from small and medium-sized companies, from Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Denmark, Belgium, Greece and the Netherlands. More than a third of the members are larger corporations.


In addition to promoting the exchange of experience and networking, the Händlerbund guarantees a comprehensive legal protection for online shop, platform and website operators by specialized fully qualified lawyers with its various service packages.


Altogether, the Händlerbund currently protects more than 55,000 online presences against written warnings and secures them through its examinations legally.
